MHA Gerry Rogers Hosting Town Hall Mash-Up

Updated: Dec 3, 2018

St. John’s Centre MHA Gerry Rogers is hosting an event billed as a “Town Hall Mash-Up” tomorrow evening. The event features “seniors and youth in conversation about where our province was, is and needs to go,” says Rogers. Seniors and youth from various walks of life will discuss what they’d like to see happen in Newfoundland and Labrador in areas including the environment, the arts, employment, politics and more.

Featured guests include musicians Sandy Morris, Nick Earle and Joe Coffin; young aboriginal leader Noel Joe; and activists Alyse Stuart, Maggie Burton, Sharron Callahan, Wayne Lucas, Beni Malone, and Anne Marie Anonsen. After the inter-generational conversations, audience members will be invited to join in on the conversation.

The Town Hall Mash-Up goes ahead Tuesday, April 11, from 7 to 9 pm at St. Teresa’s Parish Hall, Mundy Pond Rd. The hall is wheelchair accessible and the event will be interpreted for the hearing impaired. All are welcome.
