The NL NDP Opens Nominations in St. John's West and Lake Melville

The Newfoundland and Labrador New Democratic Party is officially opening nominations in two districts:

• St. John’s West

• Lake Melville

In accordance with the NL NDP Constitution, the nomination period will be open for two weeks, beginning at 12:00 p.m. today, Friday, June 20, and closing at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4.

Prospective candidates must be current Party members. If more than one person puts their name forward, a nomination meeting will be held. All NL NDP members who live in the district will be eligible to vote for the candidate they want to represent them.
