NL NDP Opens Nominations in Conception Bay East-Bell Island

The Newfoundland and Labrador New Democratic Party has opened nominations

in the district of Conception Bay East-Bell Island.

In accordance with the NL NDP Constitution, the nomination period will be open

for two weeks, beginning at 12:00 p.m. today, Monday, August 11, and closing at

12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25.

Prospective candidates must be current Party members.

If more than one person puts their name forward, a nomination meeting will be

held. All NL NDP members who live in the district will be eligible to vote for the

candidate they want to represent them.
