Hi folks,
Well this has been one of the most exciting NDP campaigns I have worked on in a very long time! People are fed up with "politics as usual." Our task is to convince them that there is a different way of doing politics, a way of working together on some of the most challenging issues that our province has ever faced. And we can do this!
Kerri Claire is an exciting, excellent candidate. People at the doors are getting it when she speaks about her concern that our young people are leaving because they see no future for themselves here in NL or that they can’t find work. She speaks about the need to have young people at the table. Young people do want to be part of finding solutions and we must make room so they can help address the issues of today in order to prepare for the economy of tomorrow. Folks, we are not a poor province but rather a poorly managed province. And with people like Kerri Claire, we will bring a new way of working together. People see it, it's happening at the doors.
Up against two millionaires with high visibility, this is a David and Goliath story but we have our slingshots ready! Only 10 days to E-Day! There is so much to do. We’ve run out of signs again for the second time, people are eager to hear from us at the doors, and we need to get to them. Join the team! Bring a friend! Together, folks, we can do this!
In solidarity,
Gerry Rogers Leader, NL NDP
