The Newfoundland and Labrador New Democratic Party is officially opening nominations in two districts:
Ferryland
Harbour Grace-Port de Grave
In accordance with the NL NDP Constitution, the nomination period will be open for two weeks, beginning at 12:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 15, and closing at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29.
Prospective candidates must be current Party members.
If more than one person puts their name forward, a nomination meeting will be held. All NL NDP members who live in the district will be eligible to vote for the candidate they want to represent them.
