Dinn Submits to Churchill River Review Committee

Today, Newfoundland and Labrador NDP Leader Jim Dinn (St. John’s Centre) made a submission to the Churchill Falls River Review Committee.

“A new Churchill Falls Deal that has an escalator clause, develops our enormous hydroelectric potential without causing devastating environmental damage or causing massive debt, and benefits a province with a small population of aging people would be a good outcome. We cannot afford another failure,” Dinn wrote.

In the spirit of transparency, a copy of the submission was also forwarded to the Premier. Dinn has yet to receive a response on his letters to the Premier on the MOU.

A full copy of the submission is attached.
