"We are privileged to have stories, memories, and insights of the evolution of life and culture on the North Coast of Labrador shared with us by our colleague, and granddaughter of Muriel Andersen, MHA Lela Evans. We mourn with Lela and her family today. The loss of a deeply respected Elder, and language keeper who experienced so much throughout the 105 years of her life is profound. Her legacy will live on through the people whose lives she touched. May she Rest in Peace."
